Wisdom of a 3 and 1/2 Year Old - On Helping

This just happened a few minutes ago:

"Buddy, can you go get mommy and bring her out here for a minute?"
"Okay daddy, I will go get you a beer."
"What? No, get mommy!"
(The Mother of the Gremlin, from the other room) "A beer! Isn't it a little early for beer?"
"Is okay, momma, daddy is cranky, he needs this. Here's your beer daddy."

Shadow Puppets Are An Art

After both a Curious George and a Cat In The Hat (Knows A Lot About That) episode played back to back featuring shadow puppets, we played a game this week where we asked the Gremlin to make his own.

As you can see, the Gremlin tired of this after the fifth or sixth time we asked him to do so (and only remembered to record him the last time), but he then occupied himself with the two puppies there, and how awesome it was that with a little preparation they could bite and he wouldn't feel it.

Wisdom of a 3 and 1/2 Year Old - On Babies

"Buddy, it's Angie's birthday coming up, what do you want to get her?"
"A baseball?"
"Really? Why's that?"
"So I can hit her in the head with it because babies are bad."
"That's not very nice at all. Is there something else you can get her?"
"A backpack. Then I can put her in it and zip it up."

The Merry Mobile

"Buddy, It's the Marination Mobile!"
"What is that?"
"Something Daddy really likes. I'm going to call him."
"Why?"
"Because Daddy's going to come."
"Oh, I'm so escited, Daddy's coming! Lets go to merry mobile!"

The Mother of the Gremlin walked across the street, with toddler in tow, and realized it's just a pig van.

"Wheres Daddy?"
"Oh, Daddy's not coming."
"Why not?"
"Because its not the Marination Mobile."

After walking another block, the Gremlin turned to his mother.

"Mommy, look its the merry mobile!"
"Where?"
"Don't look, Momma, just dial."

The Gremlin recently went to visit some furry new friends
